ABOUT ME
Jeremy Alan Pappas is an absurdist with a vision of transcending parochial confines through queer formalist filmmaking and genre storytelling.
A CSULB alum and David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts class of ‘27 attendee, with produced works appearing in festivals including SXSW 2023, LALIFF 2023, and Official Latino 2019 where he and his team were nominated for the American Diversity Award.
Jeremy writes and directs narrative films centered around LGBTQIA+ stories, and is passionate about shedding preconceived ideas of genre through unapologetically queer films. He focuses a comedic lens on the darker sides of humanity, encouraging pleasure, self-identity, and authenticity above all else.
